Craft, Draft, and Bites 2019 in West Palm Beach

Craft, Draft, and Bites is 3 day (1/18-1/20) craft spirits, craft beer, and music fest at downtown West Palm Beach’s Meyer Amphitheater. This is a very new event, only a few years old, but an event to feature local spirts and beer in WPB is right up our alley, so when they reached out to us last July we were very receptive. We will be going on Saturday the 19th, so follow us on Instagram for a slew of stories, that is, if you are not able to experience it yourself. There are many ticket packages available, from general admission to VIP experiences. We received some bullet points from the event organizer, they are listed below.

  • Over 150 different Craft Spirits and Craft Beers that people can purchase ‘tasters’ of to sample
  • 8 craft cocktails served on tap in double-walled, acrylic mason jars with a lid and a straw (an adult sip cup!)
  • An all-inclusive VIP area “The Rickhouse” with spirits and 4 more craft cocktails on tap provided by Lost Harbour Spirits (female master distiller), Five & 20 Distillery and food by III Forks PGA.
  • 8 – 10 Local Restaurant vendors providing gastro-style grub (we also have Vegan options)
  • 2 “Crack the Barrel” experiences provided by Bluegrass Distillers and Five & 20 Distillery.  These are one of a kind 5-liter barrels that have been selected just for this event.
  • Sweetwater Barrel Room with super premium craft spirits (i.e. WL Weller, Pappy – yes, Pappy, Kentucky Owl, Don Julio 1942, etc. etc.) and hand crafted cocktails with the full “show” by master mixologists
  • Will and Spanish from 104.3 The Shark hosting a Best Beard Competition and a Flash Your Ink Tattoo Competition – with chances to win over $1000 in prizes.
  • iLoveKickboxing hosting a circuit bootcamp both Saturday & Sunday prior to the event gates officially opening – all who attend get from General Admission (and a few extra beer calories earned!)
  • Over 3 dozen local artists, boutiques, business and restaurants AND 14 bands to offer a full weekend of entertainment
  • The backing of Discover the Palm Beaches and West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority
  • Partnering with Friends of Foster Children (501c3) to help give back to the community.
