Craft, Draft, and Bites 2019

Okay, so we were in Orlando for a wedding, look how phenom we looked. The timing wasn’t perfect for an attendee of the Craft, Draft, and Bites event, but the event was weekend long and since we were gone most of the weekend, we were only in attendance one of the days.

Palm Beach Four Seasons Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival 2018

Last month we were invited to a dessert event with Four Seasons Palm Beach. The “Speak Easy with a Sweet Note” bash was hosted to kick off the 2018 Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival. The chefs involved reined from local Four Seasons, along with a few from Beverly Hills and the Bahamas – All displaying the most decadent, and delicious, sweet dishes. Hampton Forks Jupiter, Florida: Pacific NorthWest Themed Wine Dinner

We first met Chris Marshall, the owner of Hampton Forks in Jupiter, during an event he hosted a few months ago. Recently, we received an invite to attend the Hampton Forks Pacific NorthWest Wine Dinner. The amazing four course meal incorporated ingredients from Oregon and Washington State; such as artisan cheeses, foraged mushrooms, seafood, and much more!

The Parched Pig Pastry Chef Collab: Sweet + Savory

One of the things we love about south Florida, there is always something in the area to explore. What seemed to be a typical Thursday, where we were just going to stay in, turned into a full Live West Palm post.

It all began when we received a call from a good friend, Mike Wise, he invited us to the Parched Pig in Palm Beach Gardens for a food and wine paring. Mike knows one of the pastry chefs, Becca Traverse, that with the help of another pastry chef and colleague Sarah Sipe, the two contributed equally to this select specialty menu.

Miami Swim Week 2018

This year we got to attend our first ever Miami Swim Week. Although the event starts on a Thursday, we decided to attend a Friday evening show. We stayed at the residence inn Miami Beach and got to enjoy some time poolside before taking an Uber over to the Faena Forum, where we paid for a VIP ticket to attend one of the many stages that were set for Miami Swim Week 2018. Best Pina Colada in Palm Beach

Happy National Pina Colada Day!

In honor of National Pina Colada Day (July 10th) we visited the local waterfront bars in Jupiter to experience the best pina coladas in Palm Beach County, or should we say North county, we never got to South county due to the excellent research we did here in Jupiter. Criteria for bars: all bars that we went to had to be on the water and luckily were within a few miles from each other, short enough for walking distance or easily under a $10 cab ride.

Loic Bakery in Downtown West Palm Beach

Loic Bakery is a  local bakery/bar/cafe run by Loic Autret, a frenchman that now resides in West Palm Beach. Nestled between apartment and office buildings, this lively cafe brings a lot of french influence to Hibiscus street. From it’s minimalist mod decor, tables donned with buckets of lavender, and baskets of bread behind the counter, Loic Bakery is the perfect morning bakery, date night bar, or after work cafe to sit and enjoy a tasty treat or savory meal.
